Fabtech Systems: Our People

The Fabtech Team is fired up and here to help you succeed.

We are an practitioner / technician-owned private company not affiliated with a large parent corporation.

Our technical staff and client representatives have over thirty years of combined experience in all aspects of the orthotic and prosthetic industry. Our three owners have extensive clinical (one is a Board certified prosthetist /orthotist for over 15 years), technical and distribution experience.



Scott Wimberley

Scott Wimberley

Operations and Technical Director / Fabtech Systems, LLC

Scott Wimberley RTPO is the Lean Implementation Officer and manages operations at Fabtech Systems LLC, a P&O central fabricator and manufacturing product distributor located in the Pacific Northwest. Scott has been involved with the P&O industry since his right leg was amputated in his early childhood.  Scott is a technical lecturer at numerous O&P industry conferences and seminars for the past nine years. Scott is also an active board member of OPTA. Since 2001 Scott has been participating in intensive Lean Manufacturing training working with Gemba Research a Lean consulting company, training both in the USA and Japan with multiple companies including Omron, Denso, Ricoh and Toyota Motor Corporation.

Greg Mattson

Greg Mattson, CTPO

President and CEO / Fabtech Systems, LLC

Greg has been working in the P&O industry since he graduated from Minnesota’s Northwest Metro Technical College in 1992. He was then hired at Lucille Salter Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California and continued working at Children’s Hospital until 1998 when he transferred to Cornerstone Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. (a private P&O clinic with four locations serving Western Washington) where he served as technical manager. In 2000, Greg launched Fabtech Systems.

Greg is a consistent technical lecturer at numerous O&P industry conferences and seminars for the past ten years. For two years he served as treasurer of AOPA’s Fabrication Sciences Society, and is an active member of OPTA and Vistage International, a CEO organization. Greg has published numerous technical articles in industry magazines. Since 2001 Greg has been participating in intensive Lean Manufacturing training working with Gemba Research, a Lean consulting company, training both in the USA and Japan with multiple companies including Omron, Denso, Ricoh and Toyota Motor Corporation.

Greg presently serves as President and CEO of Fabtech Systems and is intimately involved in all aspects of the business.



Dave Hughes

Clinical Specialist LCPO / Fabtech Systems, LLC

Dave Hughes, LCPO, is acting clinical specialist for Fabtech Systems. Dave grew up in south Seattle and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Washington in 1984. Dave brings over 24 years of valuable clinical and CAD-CAM experience to our company. Dave is a member of the Otto Bock Advisory Board and is active in many emerging technologies associated with the orthotics and prosthetics industry. He has a genuine compassion for people, which shines through in his work. In his spare time, Dave enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, water skiing, and snow skiing. When Dave is not busy with Fabtech Systems business, he spends his spare moments as president of Cornerstone Prosthetics and Orthotics, located in Everett, WA.
