The PDE modular system allows for fine-tuning the alignment during patient evaluation to improve the effectiveness and comfort of the AFO brace.
Angular shims can be inserted between the PDE spring and the brace to adjust the plantar/dorsi flexsion and rotational alignment of both the upper-cuff & footplate independently.
Shims can be changed and adjusted at any time during the life of the brace, making it easy to adapt to patient changes.
*Suitable for 175mm & 225mm PDE Kids (pediatric) springs
